How to Become Rich!

Ramit Sethi, a NY Times best seller, is one of my favourite authors. In his bestselling book, he made the big claim — ‘I will teach you to be Rich’. In this important personal finance book, he set out some really important financial lessons on becoming rich and how to build wealth. Although for those on the UK side of the Atlantic, some of the recommendations are based in the US, there are loads of nuggets of great information in his book, and I would highly recommend it.
One key thing that sets Ramit Sethi apart from other authors and content creators is that he does not approach finance on a purely frugal basis. He is not a fan of looking after the pennies, and the pounds will look after themselves, or a cutting back on lattes to become rich philosophy. Instead, he believes a sound financial plan, backed up by the freedom to spend on things you love, is the key to a wealthy life.
The book has some really important lessons in building wealth. This blog post looks at some of those key lessons and hopefully applies them in a way that you can apply in your own circumstances. So what are the key lessons?
