I have read many books, but now and again, one book that resonates with me; Two Weeks Notice by Amy Porterfield, is one such book.

There were many surprising things about this book. Firstly, she gave up a job working for Tony Robbins, one of my all-time favourite authors and self-development gurus (although he claims not to be a Guru in his Netflix documentary). Working firsthand with Tony Robbins for most people would be a dream, but for her, she was still in a 9-to-5 job that made her unhappy. Despite what society tells you, she decided to go alone and made a huge success.

I learned a great deal from this book, and here are the top three things I learned that I would like to share with you:

1 — Your 10% edge

Having a 10% edge over others applies to starting a business and can be used in other aspects of life. It can be applied to personal growth, career development, and relationships.
